Can an SR41W battery substitute to an AG3 battery?
I mean like, it looks sort of the same, doesn’t it?
They actually are the same. AG3 is a general name shared by some manufacturers, while SR41 (& LR41) are the IEC names (standardization commission).
LR41 is alkaline, while SR41 is silver-oxide. In low drain devices like a watch, it really doesn’t matter, but in devices with blinking lights (higher drain) the silver-oxides tend to last a little longer.
For your question, use them interchangeably without any worries.
