on a rechargeable battery, what is meant by 1000mAH 1.2v?
It’s the capacity of the battery in “milli-amp hours” – basically it means the battery, once fully charged, can supply 1000 milliamps of current for a period of one hour (or 100mA for 10 hours, etc.)
1000mAH would these days be considered a good capacity for an AAA battery, but pretty poor for AA. (The Ansmann rechargeable AA batteries I use with my digital camera are 2600mAH capacity.)
